Huge congratulations on behalf of the AutoCare Garage Network to The Garage Whitburn from Bathgate in Scotland, they were the winners of best community garage at the Automechanika awards this week.
Ian Robertson, owner of the garage, collected the award at an evening dinner on Tuesday 5thJune, he said "We are thrilled as well as honoured to win. Our efforts within the community are not with the intention of receiving awards. Though, winning something notable, serves as a thank you to our customers, staff, VIP’s, family, friends and the whole community. The support and warmth we feel from our community constantly motivates us to do more."
The awards ceremony sponsored by Automechnika and Garage Wire was held at Aston Villa’s stadium, Villa Park on Tuesday 5th June. Independent garages were nominated in a number of categories including; Best Garage, Best Community Initiative, Technology Innovation and Business Innovation. A number of AutoCare garages were included in several catagories and nominated for the awards, which is testament to the calibre of garages that are in the AutoCare network, congratulations to AAK Auto Services in Whitstable, Kent Swift Car Care in Peterborough, Bee Cool ASC in Kettering and Stadium Garage in Doncaster.
